80/80 Grit Nail File – Extra Coarse
An 80/80 grit file means both sides of the file have the same rough texture. The number tells you how coarse the file is—the lower the number, the rougher it feels. Since 80 grit is very low, this is the coarsest type of nail file.
This file is best used for:
- Shaping and shortening acrylic or hard gel nails quickly
- Removing bulk product during fills or soak-offs
- Prepping artificial nails before refining
Because it’s very rough, it should not be used on natural nails, as it can cause damage.
